Things to Do in Milwaukee
We’re so happy to have you in Milwaukee! Whether you’re interested in soaking up all this city has to offer, or just looking for something to do to kill some time, we have a few suggestions that we think you’ll love!
Museums
There are some incredible museums to visit in Milwaukee, namely the Milwaukee Art Museum, which features a world-renowned collection of over 25,000 paintings, prints, drawings and photographs from all over the world and an iconic wing-like architecture. One of our most highly recommended stops!
Another great museum stop is the Harley-Davidson Museum, centrally located close to downtown Milwaukee.
For a shorter, sillier stop, check out the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame & Museum, also close to downtown!
Beer & Breweries
If you’re into beer, Milwaukee is the place for you! There are many breweries that offer tours and tastings. Miller: The Brewery, Great Lakes Distillery & Tasting Room, and Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery are all great stops! If you plan to join us for our welcome party on Saturday, June 29th, you’ll also be able to check out the local favorite Lakefront Brewery, which will also be offering tours (booking in advance is recommended).
Out and About
A great way to stretch your legs and kill some time is wandering around the Historic Third Ward where you can find galleries, boutique shopping, and great dining. The Milwaukee Public Market is also a great spot nearby to meander and sample a huge collection of local vendors. If you’re sticking around Monday morning, you can join us upstairs for a farewell brunch! You’ll also get free parking for the market that day!
For a more scenic stroll, head over to the Lakefront Trail, a 3.1-mile loop trail just off the shore of Lake Michigan. For even more nature, stop by the Mitchell Park Domes, a horticultural conservatory that features three unique ecosystems and rotating floral displays.
